Payments and more broadly Fin-Tech is a hot, growing sector.  Concur has offered a payments solution for 10+ years - transacting in 14 currencies and 29 countries today.  More recently we have made massive changes to our offering, including using partners to facilitate these payments, new APIs, and new management tools.

The intern for this area will look at the business opportunities available to us and recommend ways to grow the business. One aspect will be to evaluate the current flow and operations - the customer journey.  They will recommend ways to improve the process from initial sales call all the way to payment execution.

Second, they will look at other areas of opportunity which we could grow into such as country specific options (Asian, South America, etc.) where unique offerings may be required, alternatives to traditional eft payments like virtual cards, and newer ideas like crypto currencies to just name a few.

The intern will learn important business skills including operations management, product management, and strategy development. The conclusion of the project will be to propose new features or improvements to the web pages, mobile apps, and APIs for our end users as well as the developers working to enable these features.
