Lawson Systems Analyst – The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA):

Job Responsibilities


Analyze business and other data processing problems to implement and improve the Lawson Enterprise System. Duties include: perform security and system administration for Lawson ERP and other applications; monitor system performance and availability; analyze and resolve Lawson system issues of advanced complexity; perform root cause analysis and develop test procedures; plan, coordinate, and perform the installation and configuration of Lawson ERP applications and interfaces with third party systems; perform technical support to troubleshoot problems that affect system operations; develop detailed plans for technical upgrades and conversions; perform operational support and maintenance of Lawson system; and oversee the work product of junior analysts/outside contractors.

Required Education and Experience

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree deemed to be the equivalent of a U.S. Bachelor’s degree) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years of related experience performing system administration of Infor/Lawson ERP applications, utilizing Lawson 4GL tools, Java Message Service (JMS), Message-Driven Beans (MDB), and Spring MVC/security framework, and supervising teams/contractors for Lawson development and upgrades.
