WATCH: College Recruiter’s Founder and CVO, Steven Rothberg on the CXR Podcast

Recently, Steven Rothberg, Founder and CVO of College Recruiter joined host Chris Hoyt on the CXR Podcast. The two discussed a variety of college recruiting and talent acquisition topics. Steven gives his thoughts on how the industry has changed as a result of two major global events: the COVID-19 pandemic and societal unrest.

Steven explains how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the very way that recruiters find students, mostly resulting in positive outcomes for everyone involved. No longer can recruiters rely on a handful of their top schools. Instead, they must begin reaching out to new students, resulting in an increase in diversity among candidates.

On a similar note, Steven also details how the social unrest stemming from the murder of George Floyd has forced recruiters and employers to finally prioritize their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
