Purpose: Direct, manage and coordinate logistics, warehouse and transportation activities. Lead and direct strategic planning for logistics and construction services.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage inventory projections, tracking and placing
  • Work directly with vendors on various fulfillment responsibilities
  • Create reports and logistics analytical dashboard to monitor progress to budget/deadlines for use with management reporting
  • Work collaboratively to resolve complex fulfillment, storage and timely delivery of product and material
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and construction teams to proactively resolve issues
  • Keep up to date with changes to regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate existing policies and procedures to make recommendations for process improvement and policy changes
  • Create, manage and achieve the overall logistics budgets within the division
  • Ensure company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials
  • Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation/distribution

 

Abilities required: 

 

  • Proficient in standard business office software with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion
  • Record of successfully collaborating with and influencing senior management and peers across functions
  • Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, analytical ability and professional demeanor

Qualifications:

 

Minimum requirements: 

 

  • BS in Business, Transportation/Logistics Management or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in logistics supply chain management, with 3+ years in the renewable energy construction industry strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely across functions and levels within the division
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the technical components that comprise a renewable energy project proposal and ability to conduct light technical editing
