Job Description

As a Material Handler at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the accurate receipt of both Inventory and Non-Inventory goods, as well as maintaining inventory stock and delivery of received shipments to internal customers. Additional responsibilities include performing inter-site shipments, cycle counts, inventory auditing, operating equipment in the warehouse, and following area procedures in a safe and efficient manner. You will also serve as an informational contact for both internal customers and Procurement buyers regarding Materials processes.



Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure Timely and Accurate Receipts of Incoming Inventory and Non-Inventory Shipments
  • Stock, Maintain, and Deliver Warehouse Inventory
  • Administer Inventory Control Functions
  • Prepare and Ensure Timely Deliveries of Identified Shipments to Internal and External Customers
  • Lead or Participate in Area Projects and Improvement Efforts
  • Maintain Experience and Provide Consultation
  • Promote a Safe Working Environment



Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • A valid Driver's License (required)



High School Diploma is required.



  • APICS-CPIM Certificate
  • Supply Chain Management Certificate



Pay for this position is $12.00 per hour + 12% night shift differential. Full Medical, Dental & Vision benefits, 401K match, and 3.5+ weeks of time off the first year of employment.


1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 hours

Day Shifts: 6:00am-6:00pm

·         A: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, alternating Wednesdays

·         C: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, alternating Wednesdays

Night Shifts: 6:00pm-6:00am (12% pay differential)

·         E: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, alternating Saturdays

·         F: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, alternating Saturdays



Relocation will not be provided for this role. Must be local or willing to move at your own expense.
