Villa Sales Manager

Job Duties:

  • Ensure that bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per Villa occupied.
  • Establish Relocation Corporate, Legal, Medical, Entertainment and exclusive alumni, membership clubs and travel agency assigned Villa accounts.
  • Ability to negotiate with clients, achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client’s needs.
  • Complete weekly sales call reports and attend sales team review meetings.
  • Oversee coordination of various departments activities related to booked business to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry and community related organizations to represent the hotel and generate Villa business.
  • The ability to make telephone and personal sales calls on accounts in assigned market areas. Follow-up promptly with appropriate action to support telephone and personal sales calls.
  • The ability to create permanent files for all accounts with strong room night potential.
  • The ability to conduct tours of property with all decision buyers and makers.
  • The ability to negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs.
  • Develop data and recommend programs to meet client needs as well as recommend alternate proposals.
  • Market and sell all hotel services. Maintain a “pre-opening” critical sales path for Villa revenue.
  • Occupancy report on a bi-monthly basis against plan/goal.
  • Inform supervisors promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.
  • Coordinate with other Department Heads to ensure quality of guest satisfaction.
  • Contact customers in-house to promote good will and foster additional business, repeat bookings or referrals. Follow-up on progress of booked business.
  • Assist in developing and executing project for assigned market areas to develop new accounts and increase sales activity, volume and profit.
  • Maintain assigned files in accordance to guidelines outlined in account coverage programs.
  • Participate in sales meetings and related industry related organizations to represent the hotel and company.
  • Complete working knowledge of local and all relevant competition.
  • Provide input on the assigned segments of the marketing plan and budget.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times and conduct personal behavior in a mature professional business manner when representing the hotel or company.
  • Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.

  • Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, positive attitude, and integrity; exercise a high quality of customer service and leadership in all areas of performance.
  • Project a professional image and demeanor.
  • Understand, apply, and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales position with demonstrated results in the development of new luxury hotel account business, and repeat bookings.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry, resort industry and world class destinations.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Group presentation skills.
  • Strong organization and negotiation skills and the ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Fluent in the use and functionality of Delphi and/or Opera systems.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Google Apps experience a plus.
