SAIC is seeking an Innovation and Collaboration Systems Engineer to join our Ft. Belvoir based team.

- Provide expert advice on processes with particular emphasis on lab innovation, coordination with Mission Operations Directorate staff, and support to IC and military customers.
- Help Division Chief manage information flow supporting Division and Station staff meetings. Manage Weekly Activity Report (WAR) process. Support Division Chief participation in enterprise contract Program Status Reviews and periodic contract Award Fee grading.
- Advise Division Chief on internal technical and organizational matters. Ensure prompt and accurate flow of information to Division Chief. Help Division Chief develop and articulate strategic goals and requirements.
- Facilitate productive interaction with Systems Engineering & Integration Office’s technology insertion efforts.
- Assist Division Chief on special projects to include cost/staffing estimates in support of annual zero-based budgeting exercises and contract integration for new programs.
- Help Division Chief assess need for new capabilities and provide input on technical merit, expected cost, and return on investment.
- Facilitate technical and resource allocation efforts with other Divisions and mission partners.
- Assist with the development and implementation of processes to speed the transition of lab- developed applications into the operational baseline.
- Help coordinate Division’s responses to new GEOINT product quality requirements.
- Facilitate all pre- meetings (chart flip sessions) to validate inputs. Document applicable pre-meeting action items and ensure timely submission of required follow-up status. Represent Division Chief at formal TRR, ORR, DDR meetings.
- Assess integration activities in the context of cross-systems dependencies (technical, resource, and schedule) and present unbiased findings, analysis, and recommendations to Division Chief.
- Support government requests for systems engineering and integration studies, process analysis and design, process assessments, etc. with a focus on process and resource efficiencies. Present analysis and recommendations for implementation.
- Support the development of Concept of Operations, Requirements Documents, Test Plans, Contract Statements of Work, Systems Engineering Plans, Readiness Reviews.
- Must have experience with Westfield customer

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
