Supply Chain Systems Analyst

BASIC PURPOSE: The Supply Chain Systems Analyst is responsible for establishing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing of the following areas:

 

EBUSINESS

  • Assist in the development of Supply Chain EDI (or other as required interfaces) processes to support data synchronization,

    electronic invoices, and effective general communication with supplier partners.

  • Lead the objective of 100% electronic communications with suppliers and vendors on EDI onboarding
  • Manage Vendor consistency across all EDI documents and processes
  • Maintain Supply Chain EDI processes to support operations and accounting
  • Establish and maintain integrity of all EDI document guidelines, specs, and processes

     

    SUPPLY CHAIN APPLICATIONS

  • Enhancements and support of supplier portal application
  • Enhancements and implementation of future applications
  • Upgrades and regular system maintenance of supporting supply chain applications
  • Data integrity and accuracy within all supporting applications
  • Consistently improve user experience across all applications and platforms

     

    RESEARCH

  • Seek the synergy of other departments and support teams
  • Ability to understand process flows, identify gaps, and implement improved process efficiency standards
  • Lead initiatives and research to improve accuracy of information prior to store impact
  • Research store level issues
  • Lead initiative in maintaining item integrity, accurate costs, and business logic across all files
  • Develop and maintain exception reporting

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelors preferred
  • Experience:
    • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of retail merchandising systems
    • Knowledge of industry trends, “best practices” and Six Sigma process improvements are a plus 
    • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
    • Knowledge and usage of retail analytics software and tableau dash boarding
    • EDI Knowledge and understanding is preferred

  • Travel required as needed
