What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support HR Shared Service Center leadership to identify potential enhancements to ServiceNow and Telephony to address issues encountered by the HR Shared Service Center professionals
  • Anticipate, identify, and assess complex issues and problems coming through ServiceNow and provide solutions in a timely manner
  • Identify trends from operational reports to proactively address improvement opportunities across the service center
  • Develop and maintain standard systems requirement documents including business process workflows, functional requirements documents, requirement traceability matrix, and use cases
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets; filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems  
  • Collaborate with other teams to prioritize business and information needs, and define quality metrics; engage with internal and external parties to ensure optimal support is provided for the service center
  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions; prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Operations, Business, or related field
  • 2 years of relevant HR information systems (HRIS) or strong IT experience; general knowledge of basic call center metrics and terminology
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Case Management Systems (ServiceNow), Knowledge Management Systems, HR systems (SuccessFactors), and Kronos
  • Strong SharePoint knowledge

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Technical degree
  • Six Sigma and/or Lean HR certification
  • 5 years of experience as a quality analyst in a high-volume call center; experience in interpreting and evaluating state and/or federal rules and regulations and system data with an understanding of call center dynamics and key measurements and terminology
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as needed
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
