Nielsen, a global leader in measurement and information, is seeking a PC Support Representative to join our team. Nielsen is dedicated to providing clients with a precise understanding of what consumers watch, listen to or buy. The primary goal of this position is to provide software and hardware support to internal and field users by phone, email, in person or remote assistance in a timely and accurate manner.


Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Google+ and custom applications

  • Troubleshoot hardware issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers

  • Install, modify, or repair software and hardware

  • Resolve internet, intranet and VPN connection issues

  • Unlock user accounts and reset passwords

  • Log all incoming support requests into custom issue tracking software



  • 1-2 years technical support experience required

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science preferred

  • Previous experience working in a technical support environment

  • Advanced troubleshooting knowledge

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to build and maintain good working relationships

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
