Primary Function

Responsible for completing training, and performing any of the following job functions:

Disassemble, evaluate, repair and reassemble molds, dies and production equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Diagnose and correct tool problems in the shop including fabricating and fitting replacment parts.


  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with little or no supervision
  • Operate CNC equipment as required
  • Troubleshoot and correct tool and machine problems on the production floor
  • Assist the maintenance department in repair and maintenance of tooling and equipment as needed
  • Document tooling, machine, process development using sketches, marked drawings, etc...
  • Perform trigonometry and general math as required
  • Read and understand blueprints
  • Well organized, able to work both independently and as a team member, posses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and procedure requirements as noted in the applicable Work Instructions
  • Knowledgeable and complaint with all related safety requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughtout the shift, without sitting down


  • Excellent communication skills via written and oral
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred; Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.


High School Diploma or GED

Trade School Degree in Related Field

Years of Experience

Minimum of 6 months related work experience
