CPA Lead 2nd Shift

Assists the Production Supervisor in all CPA job functions and oversees packaging operations in the supervisor’s absence.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with workers, production supervisors, QA techs, other leads and maintenance staff in order to effectively meet the production needs and goals.
  • Ensures GMP guidelines are followed.
  • Maintains CPA production line operation by managing oven and conveyor settings in Supervisor’s absence. Contact Supervisor or Plant Manager immediately.
  • Inspects line equipment, lot codes and ingredients to ensure production runs smoothly.
  • Ensures materials needed for daily production are available and ready for use.
  • Documents daily production ingredient usage and output. Also monitors and records separated product waste weights.
  • Assists supervisor by reviewing with workers the time and attendance policy, practices and records.
  • Maintains and ensures cleanliness in work area.
  • Follows rules and regulations to ensure food safety, quality, and legality.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships.

 

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • English literacy, elementary level
  • Previous supervisory, bakery or continuous production line experience.
  • GMP/HACCP Certification (in-house)
