DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer is a results-oriented team member responsible for supporting automated processes and technologies to enable team agility and progress digital transformation particularly by building and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines.


  • Lead the effort to build out continuous integration and automated deployment pipelines in all aspects of TTX applications
  • Work with other TTX IT team members to implement and maintain continuous delivery processes and technologies.
  • Work closely with development teams to coordinate releases and resolve specific build failures
  • Analyze and improve a process with a bias toward automation.
  • Proactively monitor, identify, and escalate issues or root causes of systemic issues
  • Manage ongoing proactive monitoring of support systems using monitoring tools and timely response to alerts to avoid outages.
  • Continually improve support processes via root cause resolution, recurring support problems resolution, reduced manual effort and increased automation.
  • Implement automated testing and automated compliance checks where appropriate
  • Mentor and train other team members who are less knowledgeable.
  • Participate in critical incident response calls as needed including outside of business hours as needed.
  • Develop tools and framework to improve operational efficiency and anomaly detection
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members at multiple levels of the organization
  • Improve application development compliance through automation.

  • Act as a liaison with the Digital Governance, Risk and Security team to comply with digital governance to ensure that solutions comply with security policies and standards

  • Bachelor’s degree from 4 year college or university.
  • 3-15 years of professional experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility in software development, deployment and related backend and configuration technologies.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in multiple DevOps related tools and technologies.
    • OS – Windows, Linux
    • DevOps Tools – TFS Release Management, Kubernetes, Docker, NGINX, Kong, Cassandra
    • Source Control – TFS, Git
    • Scripting – PowerShell, Bash
    • Data – SQL, NoSQL
    • Working knowledge of coding – C#, .NET, JavaScript, Node.JS, REST, HTML, XML, JSON
    • Nice to Have: Understanding of VMware VRA/VRO, Chef/Puppet
  • Ability to support and maintaining Kubernetes core components of new Linux technology stack which includes Ubuntu, Kubernetes, Docker, Kong, Nginx, and Cassandra DB
  • Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing and all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
