Position Summary:

Assist with paver operations in a safe, efficient and proper manner to achieve a quality finished product in the paving process.

 Key Qualities:

•Must have a “safety first” attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required.

•Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.

•Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.

•Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.

•Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience is preferred but not required in operating an Asphalt Screed

Possess a solid understanding of all aspects of the asphalt paving industry including preparatory work and paving patterns.
The operator is responsible depth, drainage and slope control of the paver.

May perform other related duties to the paving operation.
CDL License is preferred but not required.


Must have at least 2 years of experience operating the screed for a paving crew.

 Environmental and Physical Requirements:

This position is subject to outdoor conditions. This position is required to work in the field and must be able to operate the screed and work on the crew as needed with or without reasonable accommodation.
