EBSCO Industries’ two-year Rotational Leadership Development Program (ERLDP) provides team members with the foundational knowledge needed to deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive the company forward.  Participants will gain exposure to several different professional tracks within the company, including but not limited to, sales operations, lean operations, mergers and acquisitions, and business growth and strategy.  Projects and level of responsibility within each track will be commensurate with the participant’s level of experience. Throughout your experience in the program, you will rely heavily on the leadership skills you’ve developed during your work and college experiences.  Participants should be adaptable, eager to learn and comfortable taking on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing four rotational assignments in various functional areas, demonstrating increasing leadership competencies and strengths with team members and outside business partners
  • Completing an EBSCO business-related group project and presentation to senior-level leaders
  • Taking ownership of personal and professional development through participation in program initiated meetings and projects, attending all training sessions required by the program or rotational assignments and creating and maintaining a personal plan to track development and accomplishments throughout the year
  • Communicating and facilitating effectively across diverse audiences
  • Assisting with and coordinating critical rotation-specific projects; working with various stakeholders to determine scope, gather requirements, and executing on those deliverables as needed with high attention to detail
  • Assisting with the preparation, review and analysis of financial and operational data, using information and interactions to make good judgment on potential risks and issues for the purposes of making recommendations to management
  • Assisting with the implementation of necessary communications and change activities associated with product launches, process improvements or other business initiatives


Basic Requirements:

  • Holds Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of business-related work experience
  • Willingness to travel 10-25% or as job requires
  • Must be open to possible relocation upon completion of program


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degrees in business, accounting, economics or finance are preferred
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Detail oriented with solid organizational and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
  • Strong desire to learn with the ability to adapt to new situations
  • Strong team player with the ability to work with all levels within the company
  • Self-directed with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
