WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The liaison between the medical staff and the coding department is critical link in the healthcare chain. Our Physician CDI Specialists assess patient needs, develop nursing care plans, and ensure all of that is detailed accurately in medical records. It’s a nursing job with a twist!

Are you good at keeping different team players informed? Do you have nursing experience? Are you accurate and thorough in your work? Can you learn and follow processes? We have a special place for your skills.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Review and provide CDI perspective for peer to peer physician documentation education.
• Advocate of the Case/Utilization Management process.
• Collaborate with Medical Staff to meet established goals and leading physician participation and compliance with responsibilities.
• Document net revenue improvement from performance improvement activities.
• Assist the Hospital in preparing for surveys conducted by governmental authorities and other accrediting bodies.
• Assist the Hospital in responding to third party payor audits and RAC denials.
