Requisition Summary

A Summer Internship at PACCAR Financial provides the opportunity to learn first-hand from the industry's top professionals and be part of the Application Software development team responsible for financial applications. The intern will be integrated into the team and have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our dynamic organization, while enhancing your resume. The position will be located in Bellevue, WA.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Implement a development project into production using .Net and MS SQL
  • Participate in our Agile practices, including daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives
  • Analyze business data for reporting using BI tools (i.e. Tableau, Teradata)
  • Participate in job and department specific duties and processes as assigned
  • Investigate and design mobile solutions for business applications
  • Identify, research, and resolve complex technical problems related to internal applications and software

Qualifications

  • Self-motivation and energetic personality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented programming and software design methodologies.
  • Ability to develop applications in C#, .NET (including ASP.NET), HTML5, Java-Script, and SQL.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment, and with all levels of the organization.

Education

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
