Amdocs is looking for someone to lead the BI/DWH technical sales process to align Amdocs Data Management and Analytical solutions with the customer’s technical and business requirements.

What will your job look like?

  • Establish effective communication with CBU, CSU, Sales, R&D, Services and technical managers
  • Serve as a single point of contact with the customer on all technical aspects throughout the sale cycle
  • Understand customer business and technical needs, and be able to put together and propose customized solutions
  • Provide domain expertise and technical consulting
  • Prepare and perform detailed presentations, product demonstrations and workshops
  • Respond to RFXs and unsolicited proposals
  • Identify opportunities for new business and partner with internal and external stakeholders
  • Define PoC requirements and supervise their preparation & execution
  • Serve as an internal focal point for communicating customer requirements to Sales/Marketing/Product-Management
  • Write SOWs, proposals and solutions and ensure sign-off
  • May provide on-demand Delivery support and post-sales consulting
  • Frequent travelling

All you need is...

  • College degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • Big Data & analytics background
  • 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales engineer/consultant
  • Comprehensive understanding of Data Management services such as Reports, Data Governance, Data Quality, Analytics, Big Data, System rationalization, Data warehouse, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of BI/DWH solution architectures & technologies
  • Willingness to work in a global dynamic atmosphere
  • Willingness to work overtime in peak situations
  • Well versed with Amdocs product offerings as well as different industry services in the DM domain

Preferences

  • Knowledge/experience with Amdocs CES BSS/OSS Products – a strong advantage
  • Software development & DM delivery experience
  • Data-warehousing background
  • Having an international passport is a plus
