Account Manager, Service Prov Broadband

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager-Broadband Service Provider located in Florida or Georgia. This opportunity will allow you to work from a virtual office.


Individual contributor field sales role, responsible for selling company products, services or solutions into Florida and parts of Georgia.  Coordinates the sales and customer relationship process to meet assigned financial objectives; including achievement of product sales/solution sales goals. May recommend selection and development of distributors and other customer types in respective regions in order to achieve continued growth in marketplace and support achievement of company financial objectives.  Responsible for growing and exceeding financial targets by growing Customer base.  Responsibilities will include calling on end-user Customer base, developing partners including Consultants, Business Partners, and Distributor partners. Travel is required.


Primary Contact / Style of Contact:

  • Develop, grow, and maintain customer relationships at all levels within region with focus on construction, engineering and architecture decision makers for HFC and FTTx solutions. Engages appropriate internal resources as necessary, to support sales pursuits for all CommScope business opportunities.
  • Proactively plan and direct sales activities in respective region through customer engagement, product training, and the positioning of fiber and connectivity products/solutions in order to achieve maximum results with MSO accounts.

Primary Job Focus:  

  • Manages the on-going account relationships. Maintains account presence by providing value-added services and maintaining professional relationships with key customer personnel, Coordinates the sales and customer relationship process to meet assigned financial objectives; including achievement of product sales/solution sales goals.
  • Demonstrates significant expertise in connectivity product lines and ability to explain technical issues. Has a broad knowledge of the entire product line of fiber and connectivity products.

Job Accountabilities: 

  • Understands customer’s business, technology and product requirements and appropriately matches solutions to meet customer needs
  • Performs revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning and other related sales administrative tasks to grow financial objectives. Provides information and reports, as required, to inform management of sales progress and success.

Role in sales process:

  • Executes the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying sales leads, coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development, to presenting solutions and negotiating through the close. Using appropriate sales messaging, favorable influences selection of products, service or solutions in targeted accounts


  • High School Diploma and 12+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience required
  • Previous FTTx experience highly preferred
