Job Summary

The Strategic Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, analysis and implementation of projects in support of the Clinical Integration department and the related entities that it serves (including MyHealth First Network and Care Coordination Institute).  Collaborates with department leaders within Clinical Integration and across the GHS enterprise to gather information and develop work plans.  Responsible to plan, initiate, manage, monitor and control, and close out projects.  Maintains and communicates reports of project status, manages the project change process, manages expectations, and identifies opportunities for follow-up work or new projects.  Escalates issues that impact scope, timing, or budget to Management and works with them to obtain additional resources as needed during project lifecycle.  Functions as the System's representative with outside vendors, consultants, and governmental entities directly related to assigned projects.  Performs operational and financial analyses as needed to evaluate and operationalize assigned projects.  Prepares findings into summaries and documents suitable for presentation.  Represents department leadership in meetings as needed to ensure continued execution and communication of project objectives.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree - Business administration, health administration or related field

Minimum Experience

3 years - Health care finance, operations or project management

In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements

Master's degree in business administration, health administration, or related field plus one year of experience (to include paid structured administrative residency program with a health system) may substitute for above requirements.

Other Required Experience

Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, resources and deadlines - Required

Experience working with financial analyses to valuate proposed projects - Required

Experience working in a large integrated health care delivery system - Preferred
