Executive Chef 2

Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK.


Position reports to the General Manager overseeing commissary to multi sites. Position interacts daily with Client and customers to ensure meal satisfaction and to initiate customer service enhancements.  Critical to your success is the ability to develop teams that work collaboratively on quality food service standards, food safety and sanitation for regulatory compliance, and catering for special events.  Position also works with supervisors to oversee the ordering, inventory and food cost of all locations.  

This role is for an experienced Executive Chef to oversee all culinary operations, direct culinary staff of 25 with patient feeding, retail operations, catering functions, purchasing and all regulatory requirements for this healthcare facility, prior hospital experience a plus.   Ideal Candidate Skills, Certification:  Culinary Degree / Trade School Certificate, Servsafe Certificate Culinary background, inventory management, on-line ordering and inventory system, Strong Leadership skills to train & develop employees Detailed knowledge of HACCP and Department of Health Regulations

Compliance to Sodexo's policies and procedures especially safety and sanitation Computer skills to work in food & labor management systems Keen attention to detail in food production, service, catering Ability to prioritize multiple and at times, competing tasks  Ability to implement customer satisfaction enhancements  Experience; 5 Years of Strong and Proven Management

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.  Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.  Key Duties- Implements & coordinates the culinary function.  - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.- Manages catering & retail areas.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.-  Manages food & physical safety programs.


Qualifications & Requirements
