The Bank Integration Segment Leader is responsible for optimizing our alignment with Bank of America by working closely with BC Leaders and our bank partners to ensure Bank of America Merchant Services is integrated into the strategic direction of both organizations and positioned to deliver an impactful, positive client experience.

Essential Functions

  • Re-gain and retain the trust from our bank partners through improved routines and communication
  • Reinforce and inspect the expectations of the BC Leader and BC outlined in the Client Engagement Process (CEP)
  • Identify new opportunities to partner strategically via digital channels
  • Deepen mutual client relationships by presenting a united front
  • Understand industry trends and effectively position BAMS products within the bank to drive opportunities
  • Develop routines that enable effective communication and collaboration with bank business partners

Necessary Activities

  • Market level presence and routines including monthly review package
  • Maintain Client Priority List
  • Maintain alignment matrix between BAMS and Bank
  • Training and reinforcement of Client Engagement best practices
  • Transparency to changes and shifts within the BAMS organization
  • Clear and consistent communication plan
  • Reserve & Risk Discussions – joint effort
  • Establish escalation path and publish/update on a regular basis

The outcome of these objectives will yield a significant increase in bank referrals across all client managed segments, which will equate to increased sales, better bank alignment and bank partner satisfaction as well as an increase in client satisfaction which will help drive client retention.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of sales or portfolio management
  • Experience successfully selling and servicing clients to include C level executives in targeted industries.
  • Strong Executive presence, with experience dealing with individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Strong communications, including written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Effective planning, time management and organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated to succeed in a performance driven environment.

Skills

  • Experience in portfolio management or sales teams.
  • Experience selling and servicing Merchant, Bankcard or Financial Services.
  • Leverage data to provide to leadership with the intent of leaders coaching associates to achieve stretch performance goals and manage low performing associates.
  • Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with key business partners and establish strong partnership with bank leaders.
  • Ability to think creatively on opportunities to grow revenue, deepen client relationships, and penetrate portfolio.
  • Ability to drive strategic and operational initiatives within team.

Tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to quickly learn various sales applications.

Physical Requirements

  • Standard office environment: work typically involves close visual acuity on a computer to access view, read, prepare and analyze data and other written communications.

Travel

  • Approximately 30% travel may be required to attend bank/client/segment meetings. Travel will be done via air and car.
