Description

Based in Toronto, Ontario you will be responsible to represent Bombardier Transportation locally and provide regional leadership from sales through delivery. You will also be the accountable for ecosystem Profit and Loss (P&L).

In your role you will:

- Act as primary point of contact for customers throughout entire sales process, from bid preparation through project execution and after market;
- Ensure systematic and unified customer approach and high customer satisfaction;
- Build and maintain strong networks and enduring long-term relationships with customers’ industry and trade associations, government bodies, municipalities, media and public events, partners, suppliers and agents;
- Close deals and forward claim request;
- Build brand loyalty and set up the right address book;
- Drive development and implementation of ecosystem strategy;
- Be the accountable for Ecosystem Profit and Loss;
- Establish and maintain up to date technical knowledge of own and competitor products together with product marketing;
- Manage the ecosystem’s commercial plan and grow order intake;
- Align ecosystem strategy with product engines;
- Drive Bombardier Transportation (BT) solutions into the market leveraging the full BT value-chain portfolio;
- Capture competitor intelligence and feed back to BT organization (product marketing/management);
- Interpret ecosystem's mobility equation (explicit/implicit needs) and translate back into organization;
- Ensure adherence of the bid governance process;
- Assist negotiation team;
- Develop winning strategies and strong capture plans, coordinate sales projects until bid phase;
- Provide required and reliable information for reliable risk and opportunity assessments;
- Provide information about competitors to bid team;
- Execute bid kick-off and lead white book process.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Degree in Engineering, Master Business Administration (MBA) is an asset;
- You possess leadership experience for a minimum of fifteen (15) years in sales and business development, project management, bid management;
- You own five (5) years of experience leading cross-functional campaign teams;
- You possess Profit and Loss (P&L) accountability;

- You have strong evidence of customer led behaviour and relationship building skills;
- You well established network in the railway industry;
- You have specifics understanding of the ecosystems market;
- You have knowledge of public procurement industry, project industry, investment industry and rail industry;
- You have keen sense for risk management for large complex projects;
- You can demonstrate capability to excel in a matrix environment;
- You have politically and culturally well experienced;
- You have excellent presentation and engaging skills, you are able to make powerful arguments and persuade both visually, in documents and orally;
- You have solid English proficiency level in negotiations.
