CASCADES CONTAINERBOARD PACKAGING

The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of Cascades, is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.

Your challenge!

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will design packaging and work closely with the Sales team in developing innovative packaging solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Business Objectives Alignment

As an expert in his field, contribute to attaining and growing sales objectives in keeping with the strategic plan for his business unit

Operational Excellence

Design packaging while taking into account the manufacturing reality

Analyze and understand client needs

Manage and document his activities and projects (e.g., new requests, matrices, specifications, samples, contract reviews)

Provide technical support and optimize designs

Take the initiative to develop his or her skills

Comply with the safe work standards in effect

Promote sound occupational health and safety management

Corporate Responsibility and Governance

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Desired experience

3 years experience in industrial design.

Technical competencies

Ability to operate CAD software, ideally experience with ARTIOS.
