    This Vacancy Announcement is for multiple locations:

    Schofield Bowling Center, located on Schofield Barracks, HI. Schofield Bowl offers a one-of-a-kind adventure with 46 lanes of air conditioned bowling at low prices! Enjoy Open, Cosmic and Bumper bowling as well as billiards, video games and a well-stocked pro shop. The Na Koa snack bar, located inside the bowling center, operates a full service menu that includes breakfast and lunch with local favorites. Need help on your bowling game? Our professional staff are available for private lessons.

    The Hangar Entertainment Center, Located on Wheeler Army Airfield, HI. The Hangar is the ultimate spot for food, fun and relaxation. Enjoy four lanes for bowling, a full menu, pool tables, big screen TVs and arcade games. Join us for your next outing and ask about our party packages!

    This position is entitled to Shift Differential Pay and Sunday Premium Pay.

    Responsibilities
    • In a Snack Bar prepares a limited variety of short order fast food items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chicken sandwiches, pizzas, French fries, etc.
    • Coordinates food and beverage needs for special events, not limited to preparing and serving food and cleaning work areas and follows all safety, security, and good housekeeping rules.
    • Accepts food orders from patrons and serves alcoholic beverages.
    • Spot checks the guest checks to insure that the information recorded is correct.
    • Serves as cashier in the snack bar, receiving payment by cash or charge and completes cash report at the end of assigned shift.

    • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
    • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
    • Certificate of Medical Examination is required.
    • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
    • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
    • Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
    • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15.j.(1).
    • This is a flexible position and there are no guaranteed hours. Must be willing to serve in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.

    Qualifications
    Minimum Qualifications:
    Experience or training that indicates sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position consistent with acceptable practices of the trade including but not limited to:

    1. Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
    2. Ability to work without more than normal supervision.
    3. Ability to keep things neat, clean, and in order.
    4. Possess basic food preparation and handling techniques.
    5. Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
    6. Knowledge of basic sanitation principles.
    7. Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment.
    8. Able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds and frequently walk, bend, stoop, pull, push and reach.
