The Marketing Team in Amway North America  (ANA), is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies and plans for Amway’s product brands to support the Amway Independent Business Owner (IBO), to drive sales and profitability by delivering an optimal portfolio of products and effective marketing support. This team has oversight for all areas of marketing, including marketing planning and stewardship, product brand equity, brand and portfolio management, and integrated marketing planning. This is a creative, energized team, working with key marketing strategies, to help our IBO’s build successful businesses.  If you would enjoy a collaborative role, working to further advance our strong Amway products and brands, this role may be for you!


How you would contribute to the role:

If you are strong on the financial and planning side of brand management, you will want to take a look at this position!  In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation and on-going analysis of the product portfolio and pricing strategy for ANA. You will manage the full portfolio of global and local products to establish an optimized portfolio and pricing that drives growth and supports ABO success; including product launches/discontinuances, campaigns, promotions, catalog and Starter Kit product strategy, etc. You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Planning leadership to understand global and regional marketing strategies and business goals, leading the annual portfolio review and making refinements to deliver a portfolio that meets revenue and profit targets. You will collaborate with colleagues in the Region (16 countries including the United States, Canada, Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico) to harmonize portfolio and pricing strategy and gain efficiencies across the Region. This new position, has been created for someone who wants to lead strategy and execution around the brand portfolios and pricing.   Your ability to build a strong portfolio and interpret analytics, will result in stronger sales, and will offer significant impact on business success for the IBO


What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • Minimum 6 -8 years in a brand marketing/portfolio management environment
  • Strong understanding of brand management principles and practices, especially in portfolio management
  • Talent for marketing analytics, and interpreting analytics into meaningful outcomes
  • Sound financial acumen, with the ability to lead financial discussions and drive profitability
  • Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects
  • Talent to communicate across cultures, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Ability to travel, up to 25%
