The Beauty Studio Coordinator is the host and DIC (Director in Charge) of the Sephora Beauty Studio and events. This position maintains a high level of client service while upholding our brand promise of personalized service by engaged experts. Monitoring Beauty Studio’s performance and coaching the artists performing services are key job expectations.

Client Service
  • Welcomes and engages clients arriving for their appointment and checks them into online reservations
  • Create energy and excitement at the Beauty Studio, pulling existing
  • clients to sit down for a service and manages sign-ups for future appointment and classes
  • Helps convert mini makeovers into custom makeovers and personal beauty
  • consultations when an artist with the appropriate certification is available
  • Ensures walk ins receiving a custom makeover or personal beauty
  • consultation are logged into online reservations for tracking purposes and a sign-up sheet for Mini Makeovers as needed
  • Monitors all Beauty Studio activities ensuring a world class client experience.
  • Keeps beauty studio clean and organized, answers client questions, pulls product/ testers, etc.
  • Celebrates Beauty Insiders and promotes sign ups
  • Provide courteous, knowledgeable service to clients
  • Determine client’s needs and suggest products to meet their needs

Business Acumen & Driving Results
  • Communicate and drive Beauty Studio sales and metrics using analytics IQ reports
  • Assess Color IQ usage and develop a daily strategy to exceed company goals
  • Promotes accurate service tracking at POS adhering to company definition of in-store service types
  • Knowledge, skills required
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Cosmetic experience required
  • Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel
  • 2-3 years in retail/service industry preferred

Minimum Educational Level
  • High School Graduate
  • Proficiency in a foreign language desirable

Requirements of the Job
  • Strong communication skills; good business acumen and ability to speak to results
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and bend/ stretch to stock shelves
  • Handle and apply cosmetic products to clients including fragrance
  • Willingness to work flexible days/nights/hours, weekends and holidays
  • Wear costume provided
  • Consistent and reliable attendance
