Coordinate corporate travel required in a locum tenens assignment including air, hotel and car arrangements.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with both internal and external customers to book travel, housing, and local transportation.
  • Demonstrates strict attention to detail.
  • Exercises excellent time management to ensure bookings are completed timely.
  • Negotiates with travel partners and travelers.
  • Works with moderate supervision.
  • Develops and maintains excellent communications and works effectively with clients/physicians, colleagues and others during the performance of assigned responsibilities.
  • Prioritize work using the VISTA application, and maintain complete, accurate records of all activities.
  • Research best travel options that meet both client budget and provider needs.
  • Creates correspondence with good spelling and punctuation.
  • Makes and takes calls with providers, clients and travel partners.
  • Keeps computer files current and accurate.
  • Books travel in travel software. (Sabre GDS or Concur Travel).
  • Project desired company image and demeanor and support the company’s mission.
  • Participates in on-call rotation to address after hour travel emergencies.
  • Other duties and special projects as may be assigned.


Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with special projects as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • A minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.



  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service preferred.
  • Some post high school education with emphasis in business communications, or equivalent.
  • At least two years corporate travel experience with strong GDS skills:  Sabre preferred.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability and willingness to work under pressure to resolve unexpected and unanticipated problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven record of attending to details and accomplishing tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Excellent phone skills.
  • Using Microsoft Office products, typing and l0-key.
  • Willingness to expand working knowledge of the locum tenens business and stay informed about market and competitive issues through research and professional networking.
  • Willingness to take classes and participate in learning opportunities, both within and outside the company.
  • Ability to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities.
  • Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
