POSITION SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for assisting in the the monthly and quarterly close and forecasting processes.  The role has responsibility for finance/accounting activities of the company including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and other related functions.



  • Assist in the completion of the month-end closing process including the preparation of journal entries and supporting the shared services team. Additionally, assist in month-end analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Perform daily transactions as needed including customer credit limit analysis, sales and orders reporting, operational metrics, etc.
  • Perform manufacturing functions such as standard costing and variance analysis, inventory obsolescence analysis, lean accounting analysis, etc.
  • Assist in cash management processes including the company’s cash reporting, online banking data retrieval system, etc.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed including travel and expense spend reviews, unclaimed property, etc.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field and five to seven years of related experience performing financial analyses and other functions.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications - Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook; Some ERP experience (Infor, SAP, Oracle) helpful.
