Software Engineer

Top 3 responsibilities of this role:

Strong demonstrated skills implementing and deploying high volume and highly scalable services
Strong skills and experience with programming, design, and architecture, and familiarity/experience with AWS and other cloud technologies.
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Mandatory requirements the candidate must have (will knock candidate out of consideration if they do not have these skills):

4+ years of relevant industry experience
Strong coding skills in Java, on a Unix/Linux platform
Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
Education or certification requirements for this role:

BS/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
What project(s) will they be working on What is the expected 'end result' they will be asked to deliver

We will put them on GlowRoad team which is building India's largest social commerce app.
We have several high impact products where these candidates will be working
Who will the candidate interface with on a regular basis Will the candidate be client facing and/or working with business users

Candidate will mostly work with tech team and product team but for some projects/requirements they will have to interact with business teams as well.

We have 15 SDEs, 5 QAs and 2 SDMs in our team
