2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Location: PO15 5TH

Salary: £21-27K+ benefits, Depending on Experience.

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

The role of the 2nd line IT Support Engineer:

Minimum Age 21 due to restrictions of our Fleet Insurance policy and applicants must have a full UK driving licence.

The role of the 2nd line IT support engineer will involve working as part of a team providing remote and on-site support to schools across the South Coast. The ideal candidate for the IT Support Engineer role will have at least 3 years' experience in Windows Server focussed IT support.

We are looking for an individual in good health with a full driving licence, who has expertise and experience in the following areas and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

The 2nd line IT Support Engineer will need experience and understanding of the following:

  • Windows Server 2022/2019/2016
  • Windows 10 desktop systems
  • Hyper-V
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • Deployment Services - WDS/MDT/WSUS/SCCM
  • Networking (Switching/VLANs/Routing/Firewalls)
  • Network Security
  • Managed Antivirus
  • Managed Backup
  • Enterprise Wireless administration
  • Powershell
