VMWare VDI

Support and manage VMware Horizon View (VDI) infrastructure

• Responsible for analysis, administration and support of VMWare Horizon View VDI

• Provisions servers including: adding, allocating and managing vDisks for end-user devices

• VMware AppVolumes Administration support

• AppStack build, Packages Installation and maintenance

• Develop scripts to automate the monitoring of VDI environment

• Responds to End User requests for technical support and assistance within established procedures

• Desktop Pool build and maintenance

• Manage and troubleshoot migration of Citrix XenDesktop environment to Horizon environment will be added advantage

• Knowledge in ITIL tools like Remedy, etc.

• Knowledge in ITIL processes like Incident management, Change management, etc.

• Day to day administration of L1/L2 BAU tasks

• Coordinating with different stakeholders and work with offshore teams. Perform RCA for Major Incidents.

• Good communication and Interpersonal skills.
