Reporting to the Senior Manager Strategy; this role forms part of our Group Strategy & Planning team and will be directly responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of RAC's strategic frameworks, including organisational level reporting. You will provide internal/external analysis, insights, and recommendations to drive improved strategic decision-making and performance against strategic goals.
This role supports building strategic maturity and capability across the organisation, in order to assist the successful development and execution of strategies and plans. Joining a small team, this role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business improvement and growth. Offering a full-time permanent role, while making the most of our flexible working options West Perth based with flexibility to also WFH)
What will you be doing?
Collaborate with senior management to develop Group strategic goals, objectives and initiatives, as well as aligned and achievable divisional business plans
Conduct market research, identification of key trends, and perform analysis to inform strategic decisions, making recommendations regarding opportunities to leverage and/or threats to respond to
Work closely with stakeholders from diverse and complex business areas to develop and implement plans to achieve strategic and operational goals
Develop and implement strategic and business performance monitoring and reporting, providing guidance to drive improvements
Lead cross-functional teams to execute on strategic initiatives, including growth and diversification opportunities
What are we looking for in you?

The ideal candidate will have a degree in business or a related field, as well as extensive experience in a strategic and business planning role
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically are essential
The ability to build and maintain productive and influential relationships with Senior Leaders and key internal stakeholders
Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically and identify and mitigate strategic risks as well as identifying, assessing and implementing new opportunities
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and communicate contextualised information at all levels and facilitate workshops
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Collaborates effectively with other teams across the organisation, demonstrating understanding around what motivates and challenges colleagues in different areas
Experience in developing and implementing reporting frameworks, tools, processes, and KPIs; skills in BI reporting, data analytics, dashboard creation and associated tools desirable.
