EYE CARE DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie’s Experiential Interns.

Eye Care Development is responsible for designing and executing phase 1-3 trials for eye care disorders including presbyopia, glaucoma, AMD, and dry eye.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Conduct literature reviews to answer focused questions critical to clinical trial startup

  • Present on various disease states

  • Assist the operations team with study startup activities, such as site identification, potential investigators, contracting, and timeline generation

  • Support of ongoing clinical trials

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a PharmD or PhD in Health Sciences or related field

  • Must be enrolled in university during the internship period

  • Currently enrolled in 1 st or 2 nd year of PharmD or PhD program

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in 1 st or 2 nd year of PharmD or PhD program
