Kalano Community Association is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person for the following vacancy in the Alcohol & Other Drugs Services Team.
Brief Summary of role:
The AOD Case Manager is responsible for ensuring an effective, efficient and high-quality delivery of rehabilitation and withdrawal services to individual clients. This will involve building strong, professional and influential relationships with clients and adhering to compliance within the Service Agreement.
The AOD Case Manager is responsible for the culturally appropriate delivery of various alcohol and other drug services.
Salary and Conditions:
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
Entitlements/Benefits: 6 Weeks Annual Leave + 2 Weeks Sick Leave + 2 Weeks Ancillary Leave + 1 RDO per Month
Location : This position is based at Kalano’s Venndale Rehabilitation Centre, 30km from Katherine.
Hours of work:
37.5 hours per week – 7.5 hours per day
Monday to Friday | 08:00am – 4:30pm
Training or experience in rehabilitation and/or withdrawal services.
Qualifications in Alcohol & Other Drugs or willing to obtain
Cross cultural awareness and effective communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplined client base, including persons who are culturally and linguistically diverse.
Competent use of Information Technology, including software such as Work, Excel and Outlook
Experience working with Indigenous persons.
Knowledge and understanding of case management principals and practices.
Good time-management skills.
Current NT Drivers Licence, National Police Check and Ochre Card.
