Candidate ideally come from an Oil & Gas decommissioning background which will initially be focused on business development and then into operations when delivering the work.
Our client is a leader in providing services to the maritime, military and resource sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Decommissioning Manager to join their professional team working in the Offshore Oil & Gas Sector.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be part of the Disposals team dealing with the destruction, recycling and scuttling of oil & gas assets, the business already works in the private sector, military and government disposals.
This role will initially be responsible for business development and market analysis as well as bidding for and winning work. Once there is enough pipeline, the role will then be more delivery focused managing teams. Strong stakeholder communication skills are necessary as there will be direct contact with clients and internal stakeholders.
Highly suited candidates will have offshore oil & gas deconstruction / demolition industry experience. 
Duties include but not limited to:
Business Development
Tendering and winning work
Managing teams for delivery of projects
Provide project reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Liaise with client representatives, subcontractors and suppliers
Contract Administration and commercial management
Proactively promoting quality, environmental responsibility & safety within the workplace
Supporting other departments within the company as required
Skills & Experience:
Trades or Engineering qualification
Proven experience in Oil & Gas Decommissioning Management
Supervision / management experience
Marine or deconstruction / demolition industry experience
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Excellent problem-solving skills to define, investigate and draw effective conclusions
Ability to prioritize work deadlines in an ever changing setting
Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent project and time management skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines
