*Department: *Food and Beverage Back of House

*Reports to: *Executive Chef, or other Department Manager or Director

*Essential Duties: *

We are excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Line Cook. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to Club members and guests. The Line Cook is tasked with ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly by keeping a clean, running their station and assisting head chefs with prep items.
Key Responsibilities of the Line Cook:

*Duties include but not limited to: *
* Prepares meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items required for line and special function purposes
* Responsible for supplying own cooking utensils such as knives, measuring spoons and cups
* Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturers' instructions
* Ensure high quality and supply of products at all times
* Ensures that assigned work areas, equipment, walk-ins, and freezers are clean and sanitary
* Assists the Chef in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen at all times.
* Maintains a neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times.
* Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.

*Knowledge and Basic Requirements: *
* Must be available to work weekends and holidays
* Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with the membership, guests, management, and coworkers
* Must be able to read and follow recipes.
* Must have the ability to multi-task
* Must be able to work efficiently in a stressful environment.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and holidays
* Must have knowledge of safety and accident avoidance.

*Pay rate will depend on the experience of the applicant*

*Education/Experience: *

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

*Physical Demands: *

Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.

*Environment/Noise: *

Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

*Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences: *

\* Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

\* Possesses the knowledge of recipes builds and recipes

\* Must meet state age requirements for food handling
