ENGIE North America (ENA) is seeking qualified candidates for a Program Manager, Senior Advisor role within the Energy Solutions Digital Monitoring team. The role will manage several areas of the digital team such as construction support, vendor management, procurement, and general project delivery. The purpose is to enable better management of our physical assets that are deployed in distributed generation projects throughout North America (primarily USA). The broader team you're joining manages the customer reporting, field services, operation and maintenance activities, and performance guarantees from a variety of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.

This position will report to the Digital & IT Director and can work in the Houston TX, Overland Park KS, Chicago IL, Oakland CA, Pasadena CA offices or Remote with access to a major airport.

What you'll do:

* Manage a team of engineers focused on the delivery of engineering and commissioning services.
* Coordinate closely with teams of ENGIE Engineers and Construction Managers to investigate, develop and implement instrumentation and data collection systems for energy-related customer improvements, which includes solar PV, energy storage systems, microgrids and energy efficiency retrofits
* Meet monthly with Operations Team Directors to discuss and document project updates and needs, team member responsibilities and commitments, and project progress compared to schedule
* Manage all technical and procurement aspects of the instrumentation and DAS portion of the construction projects
* Ensure proper resources are allocated to the project based upon degree of technical complexity
* Collaborate with ENGIE's Project and Construction Managers to verify constructability and ensure use of Best Practices
* Leverage Procore for improving project delivery efficiency
* Assist with the creation and updating of a knowledge center for process control and technical documentation using Confluence or SharePoint.
* Manage all aspects of project closeout related to instrumentation and data acquisition including all documentation and processes
* Collaborate with end users to ensure that all reporting requirements are met with the design and installation
* Keep ENGIE Management apprised of project status and immediately communicate any potential concerns
* Coordinate with other Customer Care teams as needed for their different reporting needs
* Other tasks as assigned by manager

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
* 10+ years of experience; Additional years of directly related experience and/or technical education may substitute for the University requirement
* The proven ability to manage a team regardless of whether team members are supervised subordinates
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to bridge communication divide between technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Proficiency in energy engineering design, customer and subcontractor negotiation, budget creation and management, project scheduling and reporting skills
* Some knowledge of networking and communication principles, including TCP/IP stack and Modbus
* Basic knowledge of PLC and Industrial Automation protocols
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Understanding of design and engineering processes
* Basic ability to read an electrical single line diagram
* Understanding of energy principles and power generation
* Knowledge of data management and reporting principles
* Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and satisfy customer's needs

Additional Information/Conditions:

* Must be available to travel up-to 25% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
* Must possess a valid U.S. drivers license / clear driving record
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally on limited occasions
* Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE's policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
* Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
* Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
* Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
* Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
* Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
