On the Marketplace team we are focused on building solutions focused on enabling interoperability between Indeed and 3rd party systems, building net-new experiences that span the employer, technology partners and the job seeker platforms.

As a UX Manager on the Marketplace team, you will lead a team of designers focused on creating simple and innovative solutions for employers and technology partners. You and your team will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to make it simple and intuitive for Employers to discover, and manage their integrations on Indeed and for Partners to learn, build and launch their integrations for Indeed.

Your strategic impact within your first year:

Lead a team to craft the experience vision
Guide your team to ship improvements that enhance the hiring marketplace for small, medium and enterprise sized businesses
Through research, keep the voice of the customer at the forefront with a regular cadence of qualitative studies
Collaborate closely with a variety of disciplines, including product management, engineering, design technology, UX research, content strategy, and product science
Collaborate with neighboring internal product teams to identify and build on touch points that support users
Envision future products and services
Use quantitative and qualitative methods to uncover user patterns, behaviors and insights
Translate these findings into recommendations for improving the user experience for employers and partners
Guide designers as they create and validate solutions to real customer problems
Collaborate closely with cross-functional product leadership team members to help inform future roadmaps and turn vision into reality
Grow and develop a UX team
Be responsible and maintain a positive team spirit and culture
Mentor and inspire designers and cross-functional UX team members to create world-class hiring experiences for small and medium businesses
Establish UX processes that support product excellence while moving and shipping fast
Keep demonstrating the business value of UX to stakeholders

Who You Are

5+ years of product design experience with an accompanying portfolio
3+ years of shipping product experiences
2+ years managing local and remote UX teams
Experience with design thinking frameworks as well as both generative and evaluative UX research
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with partner disciplines including Research, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Client Support, and Sales

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

US Remote 136,000 - 196,000 USD per year

Austin 136,000 - 196,000 USD per year

NYC Metro Area 158,000 - 228,000 USD per year

SF Bay Area 169,000 - 245,000 USD per year

Seattle 156,000 - 226,000 USD per year
