Page Personnel are currently recruiting a Payroll and Benefits Advisor on behalf of a Global Technical based in Wakefield. This role will involve working as part of the HR Operations team - within the Payroll department.

Description

As a Payroll and Benefits Advisor you will be responsible for, however not limited to; assisting in the preparation and delivery of all payrolls across EIMEA (Europe, India, Middle East and Africa), preparing and coordinating multiple payrolls ensuring that processes and procedures are followed and legal requirements are met within relevant deadlines, assisting with managing the payroll inbox and responding to all employee payroll related queries, liaising with payroll bureaus in the UK and across Europe to resolve employee or business queries, collating and distributing absence and holiday data for payroll processing, monthly pension and benefit administration including reconciliation of pension contributions, preparing and distributing monthly payroll and business reports, annual preparation of data and co-ordination for payroll reporting requirements, responding to benefits queries processed through the payroll (pension, healthcare, childcare vouchers etc), supporting with benefits administration, including sending out eye tests, notifying starters and leavers to different benefit providers and assisting in adhoc duties when required by the Payroll and Benefits Manager.

Profile

The successful candidate will have;

  • Previous experience of payroll preparation
  • A basic understanding of PAYE, NI deductions and salary exchange required.
  • Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Have excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
  • A highly organised and methodical with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work on own initiative and prioritise competing demands.

Job Offer

Salary is ranging £25,000 - £28,000 depending on your level of experience

25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Onsite parking

Hybrid working available - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home
