About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

To manage a portfolio of commercial banking client relationships.
To understand each client’s financial needs/issue/agenda; originating and assisting in the execution of innovative deal solutions with and through UOB team partners.
To build client loyalty by establishing a trusted advisor relationship, as ‘The Trusted Banker to call’ who delivers high quality service, and consistently exceeds clients expectations.
To identify new opportunities to up-tier the client relationship in breadth and depth through clients’ changing needs; and where applicable, to introduce and deliver UOB’s strategic product capabilities.

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of credit and marketing experience in handling local SME businesses
Excellent business acumen and the ability to deliver targets
Proven track records in developing SME business
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A highly-motivated self-starter
Strong analytical skills


Minimum a recognized degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or Banking and Finance
