Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant’s at a Mainstream secondary school in South East London. We are looking for someone who can commit to a full time role starting from September 2022.

About the role:

If you are empathetic, hardworking and passionate about uplifting the confidence of young people, this roles may be well suited to you. We are currently seeking experienced Higher level Teaching Assistants who is happy to work with pupils with a variety of special and behavioural needs. This role is based in a secondary setting so you will be working with pupils in either KS3 or KS4 on a 1-1 basis or in small groups. Roles and responsibilities include:

• Planning, preparing and delivering specific learning activities
• To Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment
• Being able to Liaise with staff and other relevant professionals and provide information about pupils as appropriate
• Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate.

What you will need:

• A form of Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
• Expierence working with children
• Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS(Required)-or we can provide you with a link to get one
• Must be able to start in September on a full time basis(Required)
