IT Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer

Position Summary:

This position will work closely with business partners, Data Platform & Analytics leadership, and executive stakeholders to create reports and dashboards that leverage and enhance the analytics solution that enable patient focused business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop reports and dashboards that provide both an executive summary and detailed views of Commercial Operations and Field Sales performance, and other business trends.
• Create KPIs, Dashboards, Reports, and data models in an enterprise business intelligence tool such as Qlik Sense SaaS, Tableau, or similar
• Execute queries in SQL and perform ad hoc analysis to produce meaningful datasets that address business questions
• Understand and report on the data related to Marketing activity, CRM activity, sales, manufacturing, quality, inventory, and service.
• Use advanced reporting techniques to develop data visualizations that leverage existing BI tools to view data in a more meaningful way.
• Partners with business stakeholders and executives on the user experience of dashboards and the overall interface. Proactively provide training for end users and power users that drives engagement and adoption.
• Work with BI Leadership and business partners to identify business questions and subject areas of information required to answer the questions.
• Lead the requirements documentation and software/data validation process. Support BI team and Quality Assurance team with testing and regression testing of BI solutions.
• Support business operations by building statistical models including, but not limited to, logistic and linear regression, dimensionality reduction, clustering.

Education & Qualifications:

• BS in Business, Healthcare, or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required for eliciting requirements as well as communicating findings to key business stakeholders. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 3-5 years of experience leveraging Business Intelligence solutions for reports, dashboards, queries, and frameworks.
• 1-3 years of experience with ERP, CRM, CDW, MDM, and similar business systems
• 3-5 years of experience with using Microsoft Excel for reports and dashboards
• 1-3 years Pharmaceutical or similar commercial data expertise (CRM, Claims, Payer, Specialty Pharmacy, etc.) desired
• Prior experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Qlik, Power BI, Domo, Tableau
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Proven analytical skills and attention to detail required

Travel Requirements:

• 10% travel may be required.
