Programming Co-ordinator

Minimum requirements:
Matric or relevant tertiary qualification
Sheet metal and G code programming experience would be beneficial (CAD/CAM or AP100)
+/- 2 years experience in managing a workforce of at least 15 employees in a supervisor/foreman
Previous exposure to a production environment would be advantageous but is not essential
Strong technical/operational background
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
Production planning (+/- 2 years),
OHSE experience and knowledge (+/- 2 years)
Knowledge of programming and/or operating CnC Punching machines (+/- 2 years)
Knowledge of programming and/or operating CnC Bending machines (+/- 2 years)
Sheet metal and G code programming experience would be beneficial (CAD/CAM or AP100)
Welding (+/- 2 years),
Own transport (due to overtime requirements)
Job summary:
To coordinate and monitor production in order to achieve business delivery targets.
Issue jobs to production as per daily production schedule
Programming and nesting of jobs
Stores requisitions & collections (in accordance with stores time slots)
Scanning of jobs & allocation of material/components (Visual)
Final QC checks (handover to next department)
Ensuring maintenance logs are completed
Stock control

Non-conformance paperwork is raised, actioned, and processed
