Care Support Worker

Waking Night Staff - SEN Residential School - £22,568.91 to £23,885.01 per annum

Waking Night Staff - SEN Residential School.

81 hours over a two week shift, 8:30pm 7:30am/8:00am, will include some weekend nights.

Duties

You will ensure that all of children and young people are safe and receive a high standard of care.

This school nurtures a homely environment and encourage our children to engage in the local community as well as developing life skills and leading a healthy lifestyle.

You will work as part of a supportive team, providing person-centred care.

This may include: helping young people with their day-to-day routines including personal care, developing their communication skills and positive behaviour.

The school provides comprehensive induction and ongoing training, including QCF level 3 (dependent on existing qualifications), funded by this school.

Your Experience

Relevant qualification or NVQ 3 preferred

Minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role

Experience of working with children presenting challenging behaviour essential

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO REMAIN FULLY AWAKE AND ALERT THROUGHOUT YOUR SHIFT
