Oracle Specialist - Business Analysis

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Leads requirements analysis, validation and verification & ensure that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable

Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task, and workflow analysis, and/or requirements workshops. Collects and analyzes the project's business requirements and transfer the same knowledge to the development team

Communicates (verbal and written) with business units that rely on that information to define system requirements or organizational processes and company management. Balances technology and business issues as well as communicates appropriately with both technology and business experts

Facilitates requirements prioritization based on business value

Reviews and/or prepares system documentation and specifications in accordance with methodology. Develops wire frames, workflows, use case diagrams, flowcharts, and other analysis-type documentation

Develops test scenarios and test cases, and testing activities necessary to assess the quality and completion of system implementations

Collaborate with development team to create system requirements for the business requirements

Manages requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project. Manages changes to requirements through effective use of change control processes and tools

Performs data analytics using SQL and other tools as necessary

Collaborate with development team to create system requirements for the business requirements

Leads small teams of analysts to produce targeted results. Assists in enforcement of project deadlines, schedules, and methodologies

Suggests areas for process improvement along with possible solutions

Experience Required:

4 years experience implementing IT solutions in a global business environment

3 years experience with Oracle E-Business Suite either in the Order to Cash, Financials or Supply Chain Management space

3 years' experience as a business analyst in private, public, government or military environments (large and small projects)

Oracle SCM Business Analyst experience (Large - Implementation, integration/enhancement) for Global project

Experience Desired:

Experience using Oracle Middleware solutions including SOA Gateway and Oracle B2B

Experience managing strategic relationships with global business partners, vendors, and customers

3rd Party application experience

Education and Training Required:

Bachelors degree in Computer science, Business, or related field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

Primary Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Understand all aspects of software development lifecycle

Understand various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.)

Comfortable with other application/ERP (3rd party relationship)

Solution/Architecture oriented

Basic backend SQL skills

Able to gather business requirement

Excellent documentation skills

Additional Skills:

Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills across technical and senior operational management audiences

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to define problems and provide recommended system changes

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Demonstrates ability to work independently under time constraints and manage multiple priorities

Good understanding of Oracle EBS table structures and basic SQL knowledge

Demonstrates ability to recognize recurring issues that should be proactively remediated

Lean/Six Sigma Green belt (or other process improvement disciplines)

Familiar with various IT and PM tools JIRA, RTC etc.
