POSITION SUMMARY:

As a member of the Global TMXR Team, this position supports various business leaders providing expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of talent and employee related issues. The TMXR Generalist is responsible for driving all HR functions including but not limited to, recruitment, employee engagement, benefits, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Collaborates with Corporate HR to identify best practices and support the deployment of HR initiatives at the local level.

· Provides day-to-day support and counsel to team members, supervisors, and managers regarding HR best practices, team member engagement, performance management, policy interpretation and application, HR compliance and appropriate workplace conduct.

· Handles employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.

· Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as all Company policies and procedures.

· Administers FMLA and Medical leave programs and leave tracking for assigned team members

· Provides ongoing training to managers to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and employment law.

· Assists managers in administering performance reviews, guidance and coaching of team members; supporting career development efforts.

· Conducts effective recruitment efforts for all team members, utilizing the company’s ATS and other methods and onboards new team members.

  • Produces deliverables on a wide variety of projects, as assigned by the Director and EVP, HR or other executive leaders


Required Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s or Masters' degree in human resources or related field

· SHRM Certified Professional of Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.

· 3-5 years of diverse HR generalist experience in a corporate environment, including strong experience in recruiting

· Adept in federal, state and local HR laws, wage and hour and payroll laws.

· In-depth knowledge of human resources functional areas; demonstrated competencies in human resources and skill in implementing effective HR programs, policies and services to support the organization's objectives.

· Experience working (and thrives) in a fast paced environment.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other managers in the region.

The TMXR (Human Resources) Generalist must rely on expertise, logic and sound judgment to resolve a wide variety of HR issues, working with team members and management staff to develop appropriate programs, to introduce solutions to problems and to support and develop a positive work environment for all, as well as support Company vision and value statements, policies and procedures, privacy, security and confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior.
