About the role


The Senior Manager, Customer Data and Preferences is a key member of the Omnichannel Personalisation team, and drives our ability to connect with our customers in a robust and accurate manner across Consumer and OB.

This role sits within the Customer Value Capability team and is accountable for driving the use and understanding of the customer model while ensuring our marketing practices adhere to our regulatory obligations.


Responsibilities


Generate insights on customer contact preferences and trends on customer interaction with Optus to report and action on customer base contact and marketability health strategy
Provide direction for the Decisioning Hub and cross functionally on applying regulatory obligations accurately with the use of customer data
Provide authoritative advice to Optus Legal, Privacy and Regulatory teams on how Optus data should be used to achieve our regulatory obligations.
Support new developments and critical platforms and customer data.

 About you

You will have comprehensive knowledge of the BCC customer model, cMDM and Digital channels
Telco specific and SPAM/Privacy regulatory expertise
Champion Optus process and guidelines, reducing regulatory risk across CVM and wider marketing execution functions across the Optus Consumer business
Work alongside Data Governance to identify, size, report and solve for customer impacting issues with a cascading impact to compliance, TIO risk and NPS
Position as the SME for the practical use and application for contactability controls and compliance across the organisation


Qualifications


Minimum 18+ years professional experience in customer data or related environment
Knowledge and experience of Campaign Management and Data platforms
Knowledge of Australian Privacy & Regulatory guidelines relating to Customer Information and Use
Advance stakeholder management, interpersonal, relationship building and negotiation skills
