Procurement Coordinator

Butler Ross has a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Procurement Coordinator to join the supply chain team in a busy construction company based in Eaton Socon, St Neots. The role is paying up to £28,000 and the company also offer support through your CIPS qualification.

Successful candidates will have some procurement experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the construction industry (though this is not essential). You will be an ambitious individual who enjoys working collaboratively and is able to manage purchasing across multiple projects.

Role responsibilities of the Procurement Coordinator:

• Managing procurement across construction projects
• Building effective working relationships with suppliers and customers
• Maintaining a competitive material database
• Raising purchase orders for material and plant requirements
• Assisting with tenders and preparation of quotes

Personal specification of the Procurement Coordinator:

• A confident communicator at all levels
• Team player with the ability to work independently in an effective manner
• Organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Able to work well within a fast-paced environment
• Confident with using various IT packages including MS Office

This position will be suited to you if you have held a role as a: Purchasing Coordinator, Purchasing Controller, Procurement Coordinator, Procurement Controller, Junior Buyer, Buyer, Purchasing Specialist or Procurement Specialist.
