Surfacing Supervisor

Surfacing Supervisor required for a very busy contractor with major works in the Birmingham area. This is an exciting new role to work with some top people in Surfacing and run surfacing sites with a strong team of supervisors/gangs. A strong surfacing background as well as good management experience is required. Definite option to go permanent after a few months but a good trial on temp first to see how you like the role.

The Surfacing Supervisor job will involve:

• Supervision of gangs on major roads and schemes
• Working with the management team to guide the projects in the right direction to be completed on time and under budget
• Ensuring all materials ordered, paperwork in place and manpower confirmed for each job.
• Ensuring work is completed to high standard
• Liaising with the client on each contract

The Surfacing Supervisor ideal candidate will have:

• Strong surfacing background
• Experience in surfacing schemes
• SMSTS & CSCS card
• Own transport to get to site and around various sites
• A good attitude to work and willingness to work from both the office and site as required
